Ticket office hours: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Indoor animal enclosures are open until 6 p.m.
The zoo grounds stay open until 7 p.m. (Both - lower und upper - entrances have turnstiles that you can use to exit the zoo)
During the summer season both entrances are open (upper and lower).

Disabled children/wheelchair users can enter free of any charge. There is 50% discount for the accompanying person (applies to one person only). There is also 50% discount for ZTP Card holders, and 50% discount for ZTP/P Card holders & the accompanying person (applies to one person only).
The zoo is located on the outskirts of the Krásné Březno city district.
Direction from Prague: Follow the main road (#30) along the River Elbe embankment. There are two bridges to pass under when you reach the city centre. Once you passed under the second bridge, turn left at the first traffic lights. After some 100 metres, watch for the zoo car park placed to the right, opposite the main zoo entrance.
Direction from Teplice: When you exit the main motor way (D8), you enter a roundabout. Turn to the approach road towards the city centre. Once you reach another roundabout, follow the "Děčín" direction. Now you drive along the River Elbe embankment. There are two bridges to pass under. Once you passed under the second bridge, turn left at the first traffic lights. After some 100 metres, watch for the zoo car park placed to the right, opposite the main zoo entrance.
Direction from Litoměřice: Follow the main road ("Děčín" direction) until you reach a bridge across the River Elbe. Exit the main road and turn left towards the bridge ("Krásné Březno" direction). When exiting the bridge, turn right and drive along the river embankment. Turn left at the first traffic lights. After some 100 metres, watch for the zoo car park placed to the right, opposite the main zoo entrance.
Direction from Děčín: Follow the main road. Before reaching a railroad bridging, turn right, following the "Krásné Březno" direction. After some 500 metres, watch for the zoo car park located to the left, opposite the main zoo entrance.
Train: The main train station entitled "Ústí nad Labem - hlavní nádraží" is about 2 kilometres away from the zoo. The zoo can be reached from the city centre via the local public transport system from the "Mírové náměstí" station (about 200 m from the main train station). Enter any of the trolleybus lines in the "Krásné Březno" direction (# 51, 55, 56, 57, 58 and 59). The bus stop is located near the main zoo entrance on the street of Drážďanská ulice. You can enter the zoo via the upper zoo entrance as well; it is located on the street of Výstupní ulice. A small car park is available near this entrance.
